Meet Yvette Drucker

Yvette Drucker is a lifelong Democrat and proud first-generation Cuban American who understands the value of hard work, opportunity, and the promise of the American Dream. Raised in South Florida, Yvette graduated from Florida International University with a degree in International Relations — a foundation that sparked her passion for inclusive policy, diplomacy, and public service.

In 2004, she made Boca Raton her home and has spent the past two decades serving the community through grassroots organizing, civic leadership, and tireless advocacy for women, children, and working families.

Elected to the Boca Raton City Council in 2021, Yvette has prioritized the issues that matter most to everyday Floridians — including housing affordability, economic equity, public education, and community safety. Her decisive leadership and results-driven approach earned her re-election with 77% of the vote, a clear reflection of the trust she’s built with her constituents.

3-time Home Rule Hero Awardee

For her work advocating for our local community’s interests in Tallahassee.

As a current City Councilmember and former Deputy Mayor, Yvette has championed forward-thinking policies to promote sustainable development, environmental protection, and government transparency. She has led efforts to expand resources for small businesses, strengthen public transportation, and preserve green space — always with an eye toward equity and access.

Yvette’s work extends beyond the city level. She serves on the Executive Board of the Palm Beach County Transportation Planning Agency and holds active roles with the National League of Cities and Florida League of Cities, where she has consistently advocated for Democratic values at the federal, state, and local levels. Her dedication to community engagement includes leadership with the Junior League of Boca Raton, service as Statewide Public Affairs Chair, and active involvement in public education and faith-based outreach through organizations like the B’nai Torah Congregation.

As she campaigns for the Florida Senate, Yvette brings a bold, progressive vision grounded in real-world experience. She is committed to protecting reproductive freedom, addressing the climate crisis, defending public schools, and ensuring that every Floridian has the opportunity to thrive.

Yvette Drucker is ready to bring her voice to Tallahassee — for families, for fairness, and for Florida’s future.
